Stoned Hare is an indie-stoner band formed in 2018. It blends stoner rock, alternative rock and indie, with influences ranging from Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters to the atmosphere of Roky Erickson and 70s horror rock.
The lyrics are introspective and the energy is raw. The band's style began taking shape on Lullabies (2021) and was consolidated on Medication for Enemies (2024), with "Love's Born To Die" as a highlight.

Nick started Stoned Hare in 2017, wanting to write in English and find a musical identity that was truly his own. With Izzy Castro on the recording side, he released "The Wolf's Waiting" on Halloween 2018.
He carried the project on his own through the pandemic, between singles and the first album. In 2022 he took the songs on stage with a full band. Today he sings and plays guitar in the trio.
The bass lines are pre-recorded, which keeps the show close to the studio sound, where everything is carefully worked out, including VSTi's in the production. What is left on stage is two heavy guitars and sharp drums.
The band has a history of sold-out shows on the independent circuit.

First official album, where the band's style starts to take shape. "This Lullaby" features a spoken passage from the end of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven".

It comes from a period of changing partnerships and the decision to produce it by trusting the band's own artistic instinct. It is an album about moving forward, a "remedy" against negativity. Highlight: "Love's Born To Die".
We are working on the next release.
